Rob Pryce

postgraduate in online and digital marketing - rob-pryceThe former head of the Aegis-owned Diffiniti, Rob Pryce has been appointed as sales director of Microsoft Advertising in Ireland.

This role within Microsoft’s advertising division and follows on the company’s recent decision to move some of its advertising sales function to Electric Media Sales (EMS).

Prior to the moving to Microsoft, Pryce briefly worked for the Dublin-based digital company Web Kitchen.

Pryce is a graduate of Economics and Spanish from UCD and International Marketing from the Michael Smurfit Business School.  Initially Rob worked within the traditional marketing environment before moving to the digital sector in 1999. After a number of positions within Interactive Return and Bluecube Interactive, he established Diffiniti Ireland, Aegis Media’s digital agency. Since then he has been responsible for many successful campaigns for a wide range of brands including Vodafone, Bank of Ireland, Nokia, UPC and Cadburys.

He was also one of the key driving forces behind the formation of IAB Ireland and has been actively involved in the establishment of the digital council of IAPI.
